The Gulf of Mexico’s ‘Dead Zone’ Could Balloon to Over 8,000 Square Miles This Summer

Did you know that the Gulf of Mexico has a “dead zone”? How is that even slightly OK, and not a national fucking emergency? Seriously.

Be yourself. If people don’t like it, fuck those people. Go find the ones who do. The more we try to be just like those around us, the more we rob each other of getting to know another perspective on our own foolish assumptions. We all assume a LOT more than we should. ~jg

How the dying George Orwell wrote his totalitarian dystopia 1984 on a remote Scottish island

It took a little longer than expected, but here we are, living the Orwellian dream in 2019. They had to adapt their plans, thanks to Orwell’s warning, so I figure that explains the 35 year delay. But Big Brother is definitely all up in our shit…and so few people seem to care or even notice. It’s crazy as fuck if you ask me…I guess there’s a lot of people who, like our president, don’t…or can’t read the writing on the wall.
