The World of Music lost John Prine to COVID a few weeks back. He would’ve been 74 this week. I’m still heartbroken each time I think about how we lost this songwriting giant, way before his time, to a faceless killer that has now been weaponized for the political season…weaponized against the American people by their own leaders.

We’ve all lost a LOT in the last 8 months.

Because of Trump’s ignorance and inability to trust in science and the experts at CDC and WHO, thousands of people have died needlessly. Thousands of families are missing loved ones. Thousands of broken hearts and empty chairs at the dinner tables around the country. Thousands that didn’t have to die.

If Trump had been the perfect president for the last three years, this fact alone could make me vote for Joe Biden.

Of course, Trump has NOT been the perfect president…although he HAS come very, VERY close to being perfectly WRONG on just about EVERYTHING. It’s just so fucking…SAD for all the rest of us. ~jg
