Comcast does this shit too. THIS is why monopolies are supposed to be illegal. Another fraud they use is the “HD Technology Fee”, with which they add $10 to their advertised monthly charges of your HD bundle. My $149 package for example, somehow costs $211 each month with fees, charges and taxes.
This bullshit makes me glad 5G will mean no more cable company monopoly hell. It can’t happen soon enough (and, no I don’t mean that fake 5G-e that AT&T is pretending isn’t just 4G with a new name).
