We really need to stop measuring political success and power by how much money is thrown at the candidate or cause. Legal bribery is exactly the problem with American politics, and as long as we perpetuate it, it owns us.
We need campaign finance reform that includes publicly funded elections. Each candidate gets an equal share of the fund, and when it’s gone, that’s it. That way, the MESSAGE will be important, not the MONEY.
We are a democracy…well, technically we’re a democratic republic. Either way, wealthy Americans (or worse, foreigners) and huge corporations should not be able to buy our elections.

These people are doing these things because they feel that they are Patriots, emboldened by this horrible, hateful man. They believe they are World Saviors, because they believe that the world needs saving, from people who ‘aren’t like them’, thanks to guys like Donald J Trump, who is vigorously preaching this very same message of hate from the Oval Office.
Saving the world from the likes of these hate-filled analog Trump-Bots is the REAL emergency.
