Call it forgotten if you wish, but Danbury is the best city in Connecticut. I never expected to move to CT…and stay here…but that’s before I moved to Danbury. I can only assume it’s”forgotten” because Danbury seems too much like New York (upstate) to be a CT city.

Believe it or not, there’s some merit to the argument. A tree removes CO2 from the atmosphere during it’s entire lifetime, so when you cut it down and burn it, you are returning that carbon to the atmosphere. Does it balance out? Who knows. For all we know trees may remove more CO2 over their lifetime than created by burning.
But wouldn’t the Earth be better served at this point, where we are trying to reduce atmospheric CO2, by having trees continue to remove CO2 rather than add it back?
