9 Mistakes Musicians Make On Twitter

Learning a few rules will help musician get…and keep…relevant followers on twitter and facebook

I’ve made a few of the “9 Mistakes Musicians Make On Twitter”. I’m sure I’m not alone.

Social networking can be hard. But it’s also an amazing way to find new listeners for your music and interact with new fans and old…or piss people off because you don’t know what the hell you’re doing. Learning a few rules will help you get…and keep…relevant followers, and the answers are all pretty much common sense.

Well, they should be. But let’s face it, most of us would rather play music than screw around with Twitter and Facebook trying to find new fans. But learning how to use these networks…and the plethora of other social web tools out there…can turn small amounts of effort into big results.

IF you’re careful not to break a few simple rules, you can avoid finding yourself shunned and alone with the spammers and phishermen.
