Rage against the FCC: Musicians say killing net neutrality threatens art

They’re right! #NetNeutrality affects us ALL. This may be the last chance to hold back the big corporations from completely subverting our government, turning it against us…The People. Net Neutrality literally IS #Freedom of The Web.
If we let Verizon, Comcast & AT&T win this battle, only the #DarkWeb will be truly free.
NOBODY wants to see that. Seriously.

Mickey Hart : A drummer’s magic box | Droolin Dog dot Net

#MickeyHart was one half of the #TheGratefulDead rhythm section…the crazy, out-there, second set welcome-to-space from halfway around the world and back, half.
I should listen to more of his solo stuff…

“While Kreutzmann is also a superb drummer, Hart is the wilder experimenter, with a repertoire of instruments drawn from all over the world and sonic samples collected over the years that continue to astonish listeners half a century after he joined the band and almost simultaneously also launched, in parallel, a successful solo career.”

Josh Ritter: ‘It’s more fun to write about questions. I don’t trust answers in songs’

Agreed. It’s so much more fun to ask questions and see what people think the answer is. Making people think is more effective if you ask questions and let the answers be found, rather than dolling out “advice”. People trust answers they discover more than answers that are given to them.
Good songs should make you think, not tell you how to live.
