As much as I’d like to see it stick, I’m hoping…and firmly believe, that no President should be allowed to have such power. These are things that should be decided by votes. The President is not a king and cannot just proclaim things. Even things that are actually for our own good.

The other thing I can’t help notice is that our government, once the bastion of free speech, now deals with protests in the exact same way as third world banana republics: With militarized police in riot gear. That’s right. We’ve officially lowered our American Democracy to “their level”…where military strength is deemed necessary to prevent the voice of freedom from getting “too loud”.

Wow. But impermanence is just not a motivator for me…if I’m going to take the time to create something, I’d like to think it would last. What if Van Gogh had set fire to every painting immediately after he finished it? What if Dali used his paintings to line the litter box before the paint fully had even fully dried?
Seems like a fucking waste…But hey…that’s just me.
