I’m not saying we’re doomed or anything, but we’re talking about an iceberg double the size of Rhode Island dropping into the sea…that’s really fucking historically humungous. Also, it’s just the beginning…there’s a lot more ice to melt, and some of the ice that will melt into the sea isn’t already floating, meaning it will have more effect on sea water levels…maybe even the salt and other chemical levels of the world’s oceans.
