How do you ignore the fact that someone was denied an appointment in the past for ethics reasons, and then give him an even more important position without any further question? Once upon a time, we dreamed of a future that was better than today. We strove for progress, and seeing humanity reach the next level of understanding on everything we could learn. Now it kinda feels like we’re just in survival mode, working harder than ever just to HOPE we have a chance to thwart our own self destructive aspirations. Maybe we won’t destroy our planet. Maybe we’ll wake up and see that our error is in the goals that we set for ourselves, and not our dedication to achieving them. Just fucking saying.

So I’m sitting here thinking about all of the horrible things that can happen here in America and abroad with Trump’s cabinet choices for USAG and CIA head spook. In the midst of my fears, it occurred that there IS a tiny silver lining:

Dear Voters or whomever get’s to decide these things: Please replace Jeff Sessions and Mike Pompeo with more moderate choices who are more in touch with what people actually feel.
