Grateful Dead lyricist John Perry Barlow has spent the majority of the last two years in “medical incarceration” as he deals with one health issue after another. After years of paying the immense cost of extended convalescence in contemporary America, Barlow’s friends have started the John Perry Barlow Wellness Trust. A concert to be held at Brooklyn Bowl in New York City on Wednesday, December 14 will benefit the John Perry Barlow Wellness Trust.

Dylan’s music, and more importantly his lyrics, are far more influential in our world. Don’t second guess this shit just because Cohen died. He was a great composer…but he’s no Dylan (thankfully, when it comes to his voice).
