I sometimes go days without setting foot in my studio. Don’t even get me started about making time for songwriting. It’s such a fucking challenge. Fortunately for me, the songs don’t take ‘NO’ for an answer, and keep coming if I like it or not. But it still takes discipline to listen, and then do the work to bring them to life. You know what I see? I see our so-called President poking the bears. All of the bears. He’s poking Russia. He’s prodding the Chinese. The Iranians. Pretty much every country he can incite, he is, all while pissing off most of our allies as well.
He’s playing right into that little crazy North Korean’s hands, making threats he doesn’t understand the consequence of…on Twitter no less…and then having to back down and do nothing repeatedly, allowing Kim Jong Un to do whatever he wants…while Trump throws yet another #TwitterTantrum. It’s like having a 12 year old with ADD running the country, and frankly I don’t see ANY of this ending well.
