I disagree with taxing fuels, because the adverse effects of energy tax increases are most heavily felt by the poorest people…shit rolls downhill. Instead, take away tax subsidies to carbon based energy companies and spend the tax incentives on alternative energy development grants.
PS. Government Funded Research should NEVER be allowed to be patented. These developments should be considered open-source. We paid for it already with our tax dollars. Shouldn’t we get to use it for free?

Apparently Yahoo! is the lapdog of three-letter intelligence agencies, and went so far as to build a special scanning tool to assist in the dissemination of their customers’ personal information to those prying spies.
