Muslims in Trump’s America: realities of Islamophobic presidency begin to sink in

If you aren’t involved yet, you will be. Shit is gonna get real in a couple months, and if you choose to do or say nothing about it, you are part of the problem.

Racial and religious intolerance must be rejected. Diversity is what truly will “Make America Great Again”, because it is what has ALWAYS made us great. History repeatedly shows that our weakest moments are those of fear and prejudice. Maybe we can avoid SOME of the errors of ignorance that will SURELY be committed by the coming Trump administration, by speaking out and keeping the pressure on for the next 4 years.

Copy-and-paste songwriting for a switched-on world

Laziness and disrespect if you ask me.
It’s like being a cover band and trying to take credit for the songs of others that you play. They aren’t your lyrics. It’s not your hook. No matter how loud and repetitive the bass and drums are, you are just riding the coat tails of the original composers. Re-inventing something that already existed isn’t really creativity,
Hollywood, you should take note too…we’re all getting sick of seeing re-inventions of old movies and TV shows instead of new ideas and actual creativity.

“It’s called interpolation – when you sing a riff from someone else’s song over your own – and it’s the sound of pop in 2016. But is it laziness or a clever response to the global playlist?”

Want to protest Trump’s inauguration? The government may not let you

Take a step back and think about how many ways our government tries to throw the First Amendment right out the window. If it isn’t outright tear gas and police beatings, it’s requiring “permits” to protest and using unconstitutional laws to limit access.

People are PISSED and they need to say something about it. FUCK YOU for trying to silence the voices.of protest/opposition and FUCK your stupid rules/laws.

Colorado asked its voters to end slavery as punishment. It lost.

It’s deceptive to refer to prison “chain gang” unpaid labor as “slavery”. It’s more like corporal punishment. There is a deterrent value to jail being a difficult and unpleasant experience. Of course you shouldn’t end up on the Chain Gang for smoking weed or any non-violent offense.
