Congress was not intended to become an elite ruling class, but thanks to the gold balls benefits package that most Americans would KILL to have, the lack of term limits, and the unbridled ability to accumulate wealth based on congressional voting record, they are the epitome of everything wrong with this country.

Let’s make Congress a part time minimum wage job that you can’t get reelected to, with no health benefits, no pension, and no paid holidays. Maybe then they’d get things done.
