Now imagine for a second, that the water around and below that disaster…streams and aquifers…is what you drink, and water your crops and livestock with.
God help us, please stop building oil pipelines, and spend the money needed to keep existing pipelines in perfect shape until we can retire them.

I dunno… Between the #USNavy seemingly being unable to navigate away from collisions at sea, and virtually all of our government agencies apparent inabilities to secure their networks and computer systems, I’m getting REALLY worried that we don’t actually have much safety at all. From either military or cyber attacks. A real shame, given that so many essential liberties have been surrendered or confiscated for that presumed safety. And by “a shame” I mean “yeah, we’re probably fucked”
