Josh Ritter: ‘It’s more fun to write about questions. I don’t trust answers in songs’

Agreed. It’s so much more fun to ask questions and see what people think the answer is. Making people think is more effective if you ask questions and let the answers be found, rather than dolling out “advice”. People trust answers they discover more than answers that are given to them.
Good songs should make you think, not tell you how to live.

Report: “One Fire Truck Guarded Every Three Houses” in Wealthy Los Angeles Neighborhood Last Night

Seems like a few of those trucks could’ve been used…more efficiently. Like…actually fighting the fire rather than protecting the rich and insured from a possible few weeks in a 5 star hotel or vacation home elsewhere.

49 times we thought 2017 couldn’t get any worse, and then oh god

It just keeps getting worse. Now with less than a month to go, you’d think we’d be praying for the year to end, that 2018 would be a new start…but I fear that 2018 will bring only more of the same. More fear. More shame. Hopefully, no nuclear war.

As long as #Trump and the #GOP are steering our course, this ship is sure to run aground at best…at worst, to be lost with all hands, to the depths of the seas.

If he did nothing wrong, why did Michael Flynn lie? – LA Times

Exactly. One doesn’t lie unless one has reason to lie. If you didn’t do anything wrong, and no one else did anything wrong, you would have zero reasons to lie.
Flynn lied. Somebody did something wrong. I guess we’ll just have to wait to see who it is.#MichaelFlynn #Trump #ImpeachTrump #FuckYouMrTrump #NotMyPresident
