Get this…according to this article, contrails, (caused by particles from combustion + water vapor becoming ice crystals and eventually cirrus clouds), cause more atmospheric warming effect than all the CO2 released by aviation since the beginning of it’s history.
To me, that means, clean up aviation so that jets burn only clean fuels with zero contrails, offset a fuck ton of warming caused by CO2.
