THIS is a HORRIBLY bad idea. We do not need armed attack drones in the hands of our police. These are weapons of war, and and police forces armed with combat weapons are a civil peacekeeping and police force. They are a military force, and use of military force within the borders of the USA is in violation of posse comitatus. Just because you call them “police” doesn’t mean they aren’t part of a military occupation.
