A history of why the US is the only rich country without universal health care

It’s simple enough. We don’t demand it, we don’t get it. Somehow, the leaders in our country have conned Americans into believing that they don’t deserve universal health care. Somehow, we’ve been sold a fairy tale that denying health care to the poor will make them stronger, get them out of poverty and make them more successful. Yeah, ok sure.
Apparently, Capitalism and the invisible hand is more important to America than being able to see a Doctor when you need to regardless of how rich you are.

When to Quit a Failing Project, Like the Republican Health Care Bill, For Instance

Honestly…the GOP doesn’t seem to know when to quit. They have spent 8 years obstructing everything, and now they no longer seem to know how to do anything except block things from getting done. I doubt we will see anything that looks like compromise or working across the aisle.
No, this it the Congress of Constipation, and we need to give them an enema in the 2018 election. Whether you vote Dem or GOP, vote for someone ELSE who hasn’t proven they will do nothing if elected. If these fuckers won’t vote to limit their own terms, The People can always take care of the job at the polls.

Kermit actor fired over ‘unacceptable business conduct’

Apparently, he spoke up against changes to Kermit’s character that he felt went against what Jim Henson would’ve wanted. No good deed goes unpunished I suppose. Are there even any Hensons running things anymore in Muppet land? They may be involved, but this sounds like classic Disney.
