You have one job. Listen to the people and vote as they would have you vote. You aren’t in Washington for YOU. You are there to represent US. Alas, almost nothing done in Congress has anything to do with the will of The People. It’s all about continuing a broken system that benefits the elected officials and seeks mainly to continue the status quo, rather than address the issues that MOST of us deem urgent and actually benefit The People. So they moved the research station due to dangerous cracks in the ice shelf, and then after all that, they found new cracks in the new location, and abandoned the station for the winter, hoping it’ll still be there in Spring.
