We should leave science to scientists. That way, when we look at scientific facts, we will know they are actually factual and not political instruments pretending to be science in our Alt-Post-Half-Truth society.
So many questions…How does a social activist who is a trained lawyer get published in a scientific journal? Does being President suddenly qualify you to be an expert in EVERYTHING? How is Obamacare a topic in a scientific journal anyway? WTF happened to SCIENCE and the Scientific Method?
No wonder climate change deniers don’t trust science. Apparently anybody can take whatever topic they want, call it science, and get published. Why should ANYONE trust scientists if they think Obama is qualified to write for a scientific publication…much less be the MOST POPULAR article?

If the coral reefs are allowed to die, up to 1/4 of all the ocean species will perish with them. Even species that don’t live near, or depend directly on coral reefs, feed on species that depend on those reefs. The ocean will be changed forever…and not in a positive way…if we don’t stop the destruction of these delicate ecosystems.

Of course, calling it “Marijuana” regardless of spelling is a racial slur equating it with minority involvement in the illegal use and trafficking. It is a slang term, and the correct nomenclature should be “Cannabis”. “Marihuana” isn’t even a word.
Hey…I wonder if the prohibition laws could be overturned because “Marihuana” doesn’t actually exist? Even my spellcheck says it isn’t a word, so any law prohibiting it is literally prohibiting something that doesn’t actually exist.
