Where Confederate monuments end up
Relics and monuments of the #Confederacy belong in museums, not in front of courthouses and city hall, but nevertheless a persistent reminder to future generations of the costs of injustice. Well some of them. Some I’ve seen are ugly as fuck and should just be destroyed for sure.
We should never forget the past, but must move forward with lessons learned…and that sometimes means purging old memories from view, the message received, our evolution already part of our history, a permanent, cautionary record of our more primitive roots.

Why does this keep happening? Because the cops think they will get away with it. They see it happening over and over, and most times the guilty cops never pay for their actions. They figure there’s no worry about getting in trouble. How fucking stupid or brazen or both do you have to be to not realize you’re on your own dashcam?
