Being argumentative isn’t necessarily a good thing, but being GOOD at arguing is an essential skill. There is nothing worse than someone who can’t formulate a consistent defense of their own ideas and beliefs…you HAVE to be able to defend those ideas. Otherwise, you’re obviously just spouting someone else’s ideas, if you don’t know WHY you believe what you believe. Why waste your time believing it? If you don’t have enough conviction in what you say you believe, to take a few minutes to contemplate how you came to believe this and why, how can you expect anyone to care about or understand your ridiculous perspective? Logic is your friend. Use it.
Learn how to express your thoughts/beliefs persuasively, or shut the fuck up with your parroted responses. Life are not a meme.
