Phil: “It’s the three of us – me, Bob [Weir] and Jerry in the Los Trancos Woods near Palo Alto in the summer of 1965. We’d wander around – you can imagine the state we were in – and I ran with Bob into some gully. We’d hang out there, looking at the trees. So, Norway was for banning gas/diesel cars before they were against it? Or they just took a couple months to deny the ugly rumors?

A lot of people thought Norway was pretty cool for the decision…I guess somebody made them an offer they ¢ouldn’t refu$e… (hint: norway is the 15th largest oil producer, pumping out nearly 2 million barrels per day).

NASA wants to deflect an asteroid but now it says it will need some help. The plan is part of the Asteroid Redirect Mission (ARM), in which the agency hopes to capture part of an asteroid and drag it back to Earth within the next decade.
