I really can’t wait to see what happens when someone dumb enough to believe the Earth is flat launches themselves into space. Because that amount of ignorance about science & astrophysics theories should have an interesting effect on the navigation of a spacecraft.

Speed kills, so why do we keep designing for it?
Because we want to get places as fast as possible and as safely as possible? I mean, where did all this “safety first” stuff come from? We’ve always been progress motivated. Bigger, better, faster. Then we figure out how to make it safe enough.
Oh and also, purposely designing roads that are more dangerous at speed because going faster is more dangerous just makes ZERO sense. Think about that for a second. Let idiocy of it sink in.
But what about making people better drivers? Yeah…that’s way too fucking hard. Give them cars that drive themselves…it’s easier.
