I wanna talk to ya about Jesus

No, not THAT one. Not the one Christians try and sell you. No, the real Jesus was a long haired hippie-type socialist woke brown radical, who spoke out against corruption, and died because he threatened the Establishment by speaking truth to power, and truth to the people.

Somehow they turned his simple words spoken to regular people, into a mystical secret, that only the high priests and prophets can interpret. But that message, they’ve been selling ever since, wasn’t Jesus message at all.

Jesus spoke of the end of religion. He spoke out against the corrupt church, that exploited the fear of the commoners. He said, “Be not afraid”, while the Pharisees preached only vengeance and fear.

He said, be good to everyone.
He he warned against the rich and powerful.
He told the people, “You are Gods”.
He told them God was inside them.
He told them to reject the lies.
He threatened The Church.
His popularity threatened The elite.
So those guys had him killed. To stop a revolution.

I don’t think his Apostles and early followers ever quite got it. They kept asking how to turn his words into an easy recipe people could follow. Jesus repeated himself again and again, but In the end, Paul and all the pious others who followed over the centuries, added their own spin to his message. They created rules of obedience and suffering, where Jesus spoke only of freedom from the old laws.
If God is inside you, you don’t need a pope. You don’t need a church. The world is your church. The miracles we see everyday our lessons. They didn’t get it then, they still don’t get it.

This time though, they’ve gone too far. Not the pope specifically. This papa may actually bring long-needed change. If he survives. Popes haven’t always had to travel in bulletproof popemobiles. This one is controversial already, just being American. I mean…LOOK at America ffs.

No, I’m talking about the Onward Christian Soldiers types. The warriors for Christ. The His Will Be Done crowd. Done In Jesus’ Name.  History has seen many great slaughters, wars fought to further his will and the will of an angry God.

But actual Jesus spoke of peaceful protest, and love for others, respect for all of creation.
Love your neighbor. Treat the foreigner as one of your own. Jesus healed the sick for free. He fed the poor without calling them lazy and blaming them for their situation. Above all he spoke of peace. He could’ve led a rebellion. Instead, he refused to fight. He was content to teach. To show kindness and mercy to all, regardless of social station and wealth.

Everything that is being done by the MAGA right in Jesus name which involves violence would make Jesus’ stomach churn at the hypocrisy.

Here in 2026 America, The rights of the innocent, citizen or not, are being trampled on by right wing masked shock troops, choosing their targets by hate, using skin color and foreign accents to select them for “removal”.

Does ANYONE of these frauds, wearing a cross for TV, defending this hate and violence, offering “thoughts and prayers” for the dead…

…Do they really believe that THIS is how Jesus would behave?

Fuck the so-called Christians. If YOU side with these terrorists, you are not of Jesus. Modern Christianity has nothing to do with Jesus. It is all about power, and forcing people to do things their way. Like the Crusades. The Inquisition. The Catholic Church. The Church of England. The Conquistadors. The “pilgrims” who slaughtered savages and enslaved people of color. Recruit. An ever growing flock means more tax-free revenue. Bottom line. Greed.

When the Tenets of the Satanic Temple better reflect the words of Jesus than the actions of Christians in His Name, I suggest that perhaps Jesus was talking to a different Father.

If you think about it, the God of The Bible was clearly a dick, and also obviously a benefit to the men who created religion around him, which they used to control simple shepherds and farmers with fear, lies, and fake magic.

All for the promise of Heaven. Give up your life on earth, to doing what we say to do, and you’ll go to heaven, which is whatever you imagine it is.

Well, I imagine heaven is a place where there are no Christians, Jews, Atheists or Muslims. Just human beings who treat each other the way Jesus would have. It COULD exist here on earth, if we let it.
