Here’s what The First Amendment says about offensive speech:
-I have the right to offend you.
-You have no right to protection from being offended.
You can choose to be offended at pretty much everything I say, if you like. And if that bothers me, or if I’m offended by anything you say, that’s too fucking bad for me.
But that’s okay. Because I also have the right to ignore you.
And I will.
