Declines in dissolved oxygen in our oceans and estuaries are global in scale, and climate change is making the issue, long known to be exacerbated by fertilizer and sewage runoff, much worse. The less oxygen means less aquatic life. That’s how it works folks. The oceans are dying…less slowly than ever before.
