Kudos to the Polish government for actually listening to its constituents, unlike here where our Congress only hears the voices of the largest corporations and wealthiest Americans. Still, it should empower Americans too. I mean, if people in Poland can change policy thru protest, why not here? <\/p>\n

Well, I know what you’re thinking: It’s mostly because of the mainstream media, which prostitutes itself to the corporate overlords and a Government that is focused on preserving the wealthy class rather than listening to the voices of the people. As just one example, the American media largely ignored the MASSIVE “Occupy” demonstrations in nearly every major American city where tens of thousands camped out for Change. When the media DID decide to cover it, they did their best to discredit the protestors as slackers, “basement dwellers” and fringe elements, while painting the movement as a propaganda stunt engineered by Anti-American forces. And don’t get me started on how, for the past 6 years, Congress has pretty much just done NOTHING, despite strong public support to FUCKING LEGISLATE…you know: Do your Fucking jobs!<\/p>\n

The result: Of course, nothing really changed. We definitely have an uphill battle here in the USA, but if we don’t start taking our government back NOW, I’m truly afraid it will soon be too late.<\/p>\n
