We need a better approach. We’re coming up on the 15 year anniversary of our decent into middle eastern warfare hell, and we are arguably no safer than we were in 2001 for all of the killing. All the warfare and death is only creating more martyrs and anti-American sentiment. How long did it take for the war in Afghanistan to break the economy of the Soviet Union, leading to their withdrawal from the region and the eventual fall of the Soviet Union itself? Shall we continue the same course until the same happens to the United States? I have about 20 $Trillion$ reasons why we need to promptly withdraw from the middle east and begin funding the rebuilding American infrastructure…and real American values…not the bullshit values Trump is selling…instead.<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n

THIS is not the America I grew up in. 15 years of undeclared war…history will surely write this as another Vietnam, because we are faring no better than we did in Vietnam. We went from “protecting the south vietnamese and the world from the threat of communism” to “hunting terrorists and making America safer”. Both lies achieving the same result: Defeat — Yes I said it. We’re LOSING in the Middle East, just like we LOST in Vietnam.
