We really need to change our focus, and by that I mean change our LEADERSHIP. <\/p>\n

Basically, in case you haven’t been paying attention, since 2001 we’ve been letting EVERYTHING go to shit, while spending Trillions on Defense (apparently…we don’t really know how much and on what because the Defense Dept. seems to be unable to use Quickbooks or any other accounting standards or programs…to the tune of $6.5 TRILLION).<\/p>\n

Our highways and infrastructure, education and health services, our National Parks and much, much more…everything has been sacrificed so that we can go deeper into debt, dropping bombs on people who threaten us. <\/p>\n

I ask you: Do you really think that bombing people 1000s of miles away is doing anything to keep you safer? If anything, the accidental killings of innocents and creation of martyrs thru the deliberate killing of “enemy combatants” is INCREASING the risk to Americans. <\/p>\n

American “imperialism” is one of the main complaints that other cultures have against the USA. Our Govt tells Americans that we are there for “humanitarian” purposes. But the rest of the world can see pretty clearly what our own media is complicit in obscuring from us: America only takes on these causes if it benefits us. <\/p>\n

So, if you are a poor African country, with no oil or reason for America to REALLY care, your dictator can kill 1000s of LGBT people, force enslaved children into battle, and encourage the rape, slavery & murder of women and we will do next to NOTHING. <\/p>\n

But if you have Oil or your country has some other strategic value, then it’s Goodbye Saddam…DIE TALIBAN…Good Riddance Khadaffi…let’s bomb Syria. <\/p>\n

Why can the rest of the world see things so clearly when we are clearly blinded? The FUCKING MEDIA, THAT’S WHY.
