I think about these people, who think they have the right to decide who suffers because of their greed. Who think they are better somehow than the rest of us, and manage to convince regular folks like us that they are the best people to run our lives. It makes me nauseous mostly. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

What kind of ego does it take to delude oneself to the degree that you feel fine making decisions that literally end people’s lives? Without remorse or regret. So sure that “those people” are inferior enough to you, that their very lives don’t even matter. Most of these ‘politicians’ are clearly defective human beings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Broken. Abnormal. Sub-standard. Flawed beyond complete failure. And convinced that they are the best, when they are clearly not. They speak words without meanings, to convince regular people that they don’t understand. To make us feel inferior.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But life is simpler than that. We see it. We’re not fooled. Blaming others for problems never fixes the problem. You don’t have to be smart enough or educated enough to understand the problems. Purposely complicated issues to divide us doesn’t fix what matters. Simple math, and logical choices can do that.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Making sure every American has food, shelter, medicine, education, safety, and the privacy and dignity to live the life they choose…these should be their priority. But they choose to spend more on warfare than the welfare of the people they SAY they represent. Our welfare is so unimportant that the very word “welfare” is spun to be a bad thing. Tell me one GOOD reason why tax dollars shouldn’t go to help Americans?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Instead, they CHOOSE to cater to corporate and billionaire demands, because they get rich doing it. Nobody is paying millions to influence politicians that feeding the poor is the right thing to do. But people are getting very rich by making, selling, and dropping bombs on schools and hospitals and power plants and apartments and hospitals and innocent human beings who just want to live their lives. Building prisons instead of schools and hospitals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The wealthy start wars, and then profit off the death they cause, and America is the world’s biggest arms dealer. Nothing is more a more disgraceful picture of unbridled capitalism.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I am NOT a communist. I believe in freedom, and that includes free markets. But that freedom comes with responsibility and accountability. As a society, we cannot allow a few to prosper so far above and beyond their needs, while more and more are driven to hunger and destitution. I believe that our votes should decide how we spend that money. Democracy decides, not rich people who are only better at one thing: making money, regardless of the harms they cause.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can have free markets, but necessary things people need should be guaranteed to ALL first. Then, go ahead and make a profit. You may not become a trillionaire, but you’ll be fine with a couple billion or a few hundred million. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

AND, you wont be an un-kind prick that everyone in America hates, instead of looks up to. Choose kindness. #BeKind<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
