It doesn’t matter to me what name you call God. Every religion has a different name, but logically, if God is responsible for our existence, odds are there’s only one God that has many names. How many all powerful all knowing beings could there be?!

Of course, no matter what name you pin on this Mystical Master of the Universe, an all powerful and all knowing God is either not what he claims to be, or just a fucking asshole. What kind of ‘all powerful’ ‘all knowing’ leader who COULD protect his creations from suffering, but instead prefers to let His ‘human race project subjects’ (us humans) suffer?

Why? Just to teach them a lesson or prove their faith in their God…as some cruel test of allegiance…?! WHAT AN ASSHOLE!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Unless They (God) are just lying, and They have LIMITED ability or knowledge to help us. In which case, They’re an EVEN BIGGER ASSHOLE! ‘Worship me. Even though I can’t ACTUALLY do shit to help you.’ What a douche. THAT God is probably lying about creating us too…taking credit for someone else’s work. Satan maybe?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It’s pretty clear to me, that any True God would have to be an Energy source. That energy that courses through us, our life force. Our ‘souls’. I believe humans can learn to unite together to harness ‘God’s Energy’, or they can work against each other, against that positive Energy of growth and enlightenment; draining that force in order to dismantle their(our) own very existence. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

All the religions say that too…be a force for good. That is a pretty universal concept.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Unfortunately, leaders of most religions simply use fear and reward instead, to coerce and manipulate their followers. They have a recipe. Rules are enforced. Compliance brings enlightenment. Resistance brings never-ending suffering. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The masses fall in line, behind Gurus, Popes and Imans. A Universal quest for spirituality becomes a challenge of fealty, a promise of reward for blind devotion, or pain if you don’t follow the rules. So few religions try to teach anything close to any ‘Truth’.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With us or against us? True believer or heritic? You can’t be one of them AND one of US. That’s their only Truth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Maybe it’s just me, but that seems more human than Godly. An all powerful, all knowing God wouldn’t demand worship. They wouldn’t have to threaten us. We’d know God by Her works. The rules would be baked into our consciences. The Earth would be a paradise. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Oh, I forgot. We’re NOT WORTHY. We don’t DESERVE to live in a paradise<\/em>, because 50,000 years ago somebody lied, SINNED, and God’s been holding it against us ever since. What a dick! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

No…He’s actually a bigger dick than that because, according to some folks, he sent His Son, Jesus to become human and be TORTURED and MURDERED by evil humans, yet that somehow made Him a ‘righteous offering to Him’, that somehow allows us to be FORGIVEN for that original sin, after thousands of years…FINALLY. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Except, no. We STILL have to wait for some reason, until the Earth is an Apocalyptic nightmare, an indeterminate 1000s of somedays later, suffering and paying for those sins right up to the last day, without any help from Him?!?! Yeah, THAT God deserves a righteous FUCK YOU! Sorry if it sounds a little like your God. Maybe somebody fibbed to you?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The primary ‘works’ that we see of modern religions are crusades of intolerance and murder, wars ‘In God’s Name’ to protect territory or resources, like oil. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    We see rules that defy common sense, in order to comply with taboos defined by an ancient interpretation of selected historical documents. A subjective, human interpretation, that fits the political agenda of the interpretor. The agenda of some sect of whatever religion they pushing to gain more political power, so they can impose THEIR rules on more people…for their own good, of course. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Religion is simply politics. Spirituality is universal. But no one seems to know the difference anymore. Probably because they’ve been brainwashed by generations of doctrines and bullshit, into believing that our leaders know what they’re doing. Spoonfed an easy path to nirvana…just follow the rules. Listen to us…we’ll make it easy for you.

    But it’s NOT easy. Suddenly, we look around and it’s crystal clear to even the blindest of us, that leadership doesn’t necessarily mean wisdom, and that power corrupts. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Doing things ‘In God’s Name’ should mean helping people. Ensuring no one goes hungry. No one is deprived of food, medicine or clothing. Working for peace on earth, not Israel’s right to exist. Dedication to education and science, preserving our home planet. Taking care of one another and the precious Earth we live on, rather than pulling us apart from each other, dividing us by our differences. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Diversity is strength, and racial purity is another big lie anyway. There is no gene for race. There are just many genes rearranged differently in each of us, every one unique as a fucking snowflake…but much less fragile. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Which is good, because it’s pretty clear God’s either not able or willing to help, so we’re on our own down here…at least until we figure out that we’re All in this Together, so we can truly harness the Energy of God: Unity in Our Diversity. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
