Good. I say we cut their pay, or better yet, pay them piecework. A fixed amount per bill successfully passed into law. That way they’d be paid to do their jobs, not just play party politics games with our futures.
\nBut seriously, Congress is already overpaid compared to the average American. Congress members salaries should be tied to the income of the average citizen. The more we make, the more they make. If they create a booming sustainable economy, doing their actual jobs could be more lucrative than PAC money and corporate bribery.<\/p>\n
