Tell me again why the second amendment prevents requiring safety training when you purchase a deadly weapon? Your testicles could depend on knowing better than playing movie star with the pistol tucked into your belt (they’ll tell ya to use a holster in safety class). How can the NRA be against common sense legislation to help protect the public (from themselves), keeping America’s balls bullet-free?
\nSeriously though. There are plenty of preventable firearm accidents every year. Is requiring a gun safety certification too much to ask for? Everyone has the right to drive, but the state has the right to know they know how, and most places require passing a test and a license to hit the road. Why not gun owners? Sure it’s a bunch of red tape…a real pain in the ass…but it could be your ‘nads.<\/p>\n
