UN Ceasefire in Syria a reason for hope? Why?
\nNothing and no one is stopping, despite the ceasefires and handshake deals. Meanwhile the Syrian people live in constant fear, as countries from around the globe drop bombs on “terrorists”. Who are these terrorists? It depends who you ask. But the Syrian people…women, men, children…are paying the ultimate price.
\nHow are we, America, partly to blame, as we continue to bomb (and be bombed, thanks Russia), rather than standing against these atrocities…this illegal warfare that our leaders are justifying “to protect us”, will only put American lives at greater risk, as America’s standing in the world drops.
\nDrops further, I mean.
