Because we want to get places as fast as possible and as safely as possible? I mean, where did all this “safety first” stuff come from? We’ve always been progress motivated. Bigger, better, faster. Then we figure out how to make it safe enough.
\nOh and also, purposely designing roads that are more dangerous at speed because going faster is more dangerous just makes ZERO sense. Think about that for a second. Let idiocy of it sink in.
\nBut what about making people better drivers? Yeah…that’s way too fucking hard. Give them cars that drive themselves…it’s easier.<\/p>\n
