Speculation could easily kill #Bitcoin altogether. No currency with such violent fluctuation can ultimately succeed.
\nI say…Why not create a #cryptocurrency that is pegged to the value of a Fiat currency? For example, a EuroCoin, USDCoin or a YenCoin that ALWAYS is the same value as the underlying currency. Takes away speculation…if you speculate on the crypto-buck and you affect the underlying fiat value. Also removes the fear that your currency value can change so rapidly or become worthless. Faith in the value of the currency is key to true acceptance. No one has any real faith in a currency that goes from rags to riches…and probably just as easily back to rags…overnight.
