Let’s be clear…I want to do all we can do to minimize climate change and its negative effects on humanity. But here’s the thing…suddenly this new evidence seems to indicate that carbon is not the cause, but rather a catalyst…a bi-product of the warming, caused by IRON in the Ocean.
\nWow…OK…so let’s assume that’s true. Now, Imagine that we had started 20 years ago reducing CO2…at huge cost to our society…as many scientists and activists at the time recommended we should. Billions spent to mitigate CO2 would’ve been wasted, as we find out that it’s actually Iron in the Ocean causing the warming. Wow…wouldn’t we look stupid?! Imagine what we could’ve used that money for instead!
\nLook…It’s REALLY important that we do everything we can to take care of our planet. But if we’re going to invest in ANYTHING, how about more research?! So when we ACTUALLY figure out what is causing the warming of our planet, we can do something to fix it that actually fixes it.
