Water evaporates in  response to solar energy being applied to it&#8230;energy is applied until the water warms enough to become a gas. If you somehow capture the energy of this process, you would be robbing energy needed to heat the water, and the water would never evaporate&#8230;and once it has evaporated, aren&#8217;t you then capturing the energy of condensation? Is the goal to prevent evaporation?
